Fetal mortality or commonly known as stillbirth is one of the contemporary crisis of health in the Philippines. Data are not conclusive and most cases are unreported. Numerous studies were done worldwide to explore fetal demise experiences. (Hsu et. al,2002; Trulsson,2004; Ekelin et al, 2008). Moreover, it is assumed that loss is something personally experienced and is culturally defined. This qualitative research aimed to discover the experiences of adolescent mothers on fetal demise and explored on their coping strategies. Filipino adolescent mothers expressed that it was a learning experience. Further, sadness, grief and depression were shared by the participants. Coping strategies were banked on the familial support and peer support, spiritual devotion through prayers and believing that "God has plans".
