Graphic 15 is a "Printing Journal", presented as both the theme of the issue and an independent publication in its own right. Unlike a conventional print industry publication, the focus is on the relationship between graphic designer, printer, and printed matter. Contemporary print culture in the Netherlands is explored with visits to diverse printers Extrapool, Wyber Zeefdruk, Calff & Meischke Drukkerij and Veenman Drukkers, and an interview with graphic design legend Karel Martens. Other designers like Hans Gremmen and Jaap Scheeren were invited to fill the journal with new versions of their work, and self-generated advertising.
